the old Norwegian tale of Heiemo and Nykkjen has strong pagan elements despite some influences of christianity
the sung lyrics here roughly translate to "Nykkjen danced and Heiemo sang... 'Heiemo still your wrath' ... she stabbed Nykkjen in the chest, and ran the blade through his heart root"
